About the MAKER
My name is Adam Heibel
I began crafting knives in the summer of 2014, and it quickly became my passion. I had been collecting knives for most of my life, and decided to have my hand at designing my own. My knife making capabilities are rooted from a do-it-myself mentality. At the start, I used the tools I had and came up with ways to build the ones I didn’t.
I graduated from college with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and have been using the skills I’ve learned to create the highest quality products and time saving tools. My focus in the knife-making community started with fixed blades and folding knives, but now has moved to custom made and competitive flipping balisongs.
I have a lot of passion for the art of knife-making, and I take a lot of pride in the work I do. This means that every ounce of sweat (and blood) I put in, I do to the best of my abilities. I strive for outstanding quality, top performance, and appealing aesthetics in every piece I complete. I was blessed with this opportunity and the tools I now have, so I am thankful for all of this and do my best with what I’ve been given. My customers’ satisfaction is my top priority. If my customers aren’t satisfied, neither am I.
When I’m not hard at work in my shop, I spend my time with my family and my two Australian Shepherd dogs (Mango & Ozzy), hang out with friends and family, and enjoy my hobbies which include shooting guns, hunting, driving, and occasionally some video games. I greatly enjoy being outdoors, and finding many excuses to utilize the knives I collect.
